    When we decided to go to Wilderness it was simply on a whim. The restaurant we intended to go to was closed. I assumed this was just a greasy spoon. Man was I wrong. The food was homemade and really really good! I had the wilderness sandwich which was amazing. My husband had the chili which was really good along with the chicken salad sandwich.

    Good place to eat IF old school overcooked pan fries don't bother you, some are crunchy. Popularity of this place puts waitresses and cooks at odds some days with service, wonderful folks though. Nice hometown place to go, food is very decent.

    Great local diner and opens really early!! While camping and some overactive imaginations got me up early I found this place down the road open at 430am. Awesome breakfast food ! Good staff and local people were very talkative especially that early
